About Us
Cooper Tek Corp. is the only Not-for profit organization pushing to assist artisanal and small mining communities in Africa. We are striving for them to be self-sustaining, access clean water, grow food to increase nutrition through sewage management, support mining communities with appropriate and suitable mercury free technology, to assist the communities to mine responsibly without destroying their lives or the environment. The CTC gold mining process technologies will eliminate the need for using mercury and other harmful chemicals in this process.
Our Start
I am Sam Cooper, President of CTC. I have been involved in minerals & precious metal mining, processing and technology development for the past 40 years. We have done projects in 35 countries around the world. Recently, I was invited by MADI (Minerals Africa Development Institute) to speak at their minerals conference in Lusaka, Zambia. After the conference we visited some mining villages throughout the country.
Experience
40 years of international business experience with travel and projects in 35 countries. My work has included engineering and design, fabrication, installation, and startup as well as operational training, health, environment, and safety procedures.
Accountability
Our goal is to manage CTC so that 80-85 percent of donations go directly to the cause we are serving. A quarterly financial report will be posted on our website starting in 2026.
